Lands are Draconity's system of protecting players' items, buildings and creating communities. Lands serve several functions such as providing protection to doors, chests, furnaces and they disable block placing and destruction inside claims. It is extremely customisable with players' choosing whether to enable normally locked options such as mob griefing, water flow and TNT explosions. Players' can trust other players, with different access levels so that visitors can open doors while their closest allies can use chests and build within the claims.
Players can set up Lands easily. Lands are only usable by the player until other access is granted.
/lands create <landname>. If a name is not specified, the Land name will be the player's name.
The current chunk the player is in will be claimed upon Land creation. This costs 500🪙
Spaces in the name of a Land will not work!
/land rename. Lands can be renamed for 2 000🪙 at any time
Lands can have a central spawn too.
/lands setspawn. This will create the spawn for 100🪙
Travel to the spawn point can be accessed via the GUI or command of “/lands spawn”. While the teleport is free, it takes three seconds of non-movement to activate.
The first chunk is free and subsequent chunks cost 🪙 to claim. The second chunk costs 500🪙 and this cost increases by 1.10x for every further chunk.
EITHER
/lands selection. This will allow the player to select the size of their land.
OR
/lands claim. This will claim the chunk the player is in. By default 10 chunks can be claimed.
Players can also unclaim chunks to return 0.70x the buy price of the chunk. All protection will be lost when the player does this but the chunk contents will stay the same.
Each chunk contributes 10🪙 towards the upkeep cost. Players can pay the upkeep by transferring 🪙 into the land via /lands deposit <amount>. If upkeep cannot be paid chunks will be unclaimed.
Members within a Land must be active to remain in the Land. After 14 days of inactivity the member will be removed from the Land. This is true for Land owners too - they will be removed after 14 days - and the ownership of the Land will be transferred to the highest-ranking member. In the case that all members have been removed the Land will be deleted permanently.
Lands have many features, which can be accessed from one GUI, that players can use. These can be accessed from one GUI. Players can edit Land sub-areas, members, foreign relations, flags, statistics, taxes and roles here.
/lands or /lands menu. This will open the management GUI
The land level (Settlement) and the land name is displayed (Will). All available options are displayed here.
Lands can have multiple players that are members. Players can be trusted to the land to give basic permissions. However, it is also possible to untrust members to remove them.
/lands or /lands trust <player> [area, *]
/lands untrust <player> [area, *]
Players' can trust one another through the GUI or via a command. With the command, the area argument can be left blank to invite to the default area or put as "*" to include all areas.
Members of a Land can have different levels of permission. These are fully customisable by the player in the GUI. Roles can be made and then players can assign members to certain roles. The land owner can decide which roles can be given permission to modify the land, manage the land and determine whether the role pays tax and is added to new land areas.
/lands. The role management and user management is available from the main menu
They can also be promoted and demoted via the GUI. Options are provided to untrust the member, promote and demote them. From the same menu player invites and requests to join the land can be viewed.
Land owners/embers that have the permission can rent specific areas to other players. To rent an area, place a sign down with the following template:
Parameters in []
are optional, and those in {}
are required.
[area]
is the area that will be rented. Only required if the sign is placed outside the area its refering to.{interval}
is the amount of time it will be rented for, use d for days, h for hours and m for minutes.[max]
is the maximum amount of time it can be rented for.{cost}
the cost per interval of time.!Lands does not refer to the land, it is required for the plugin to recognize the sign as a rent sign.
Example:
Lands have relations with other lands. Relations allow land admins to let other members know their enemies. Relations can be changed by both of the lands' owners as well as any land members who are given permission. In order for a relation to change it must be accepted by both lands. The current relations are: neutral (default), ally and enemy
Taxes are what trusted members will pay to the land every 24 hours. Taxes can be configured so that they are only paid by certain roles. Taxes are only paid by trusted players in the land and not allies or visitors. The tax for every role is the same within the land.
/lands. This will open up the GUI and allow changes to tax
Lands have different levels of power. The Land owner can upgrade the Land when it satisfies the requirements. Upgrading to higher levels means that more claims will be unlocked at the cost of higher upkeep. In order to upgrade a land, there must be a certain amount of members and a certain amount of 🪙 within the land. Lands at higher levels require more resources but offer greater rewards.

What is a Area?
Land areas are "sub areas/lands" inside a land. These areas are three dimensional, that means that they are not bound to chunks but instead to blocks. You can trust players to specific area(s) and apply flags for it, like you would do for a land.
Create a new Area
1. First open your land menu with /Lands menu and click on the areas item.
2. Now click on the add area button. After this you will need to enter the area name in chat.
3. After that you will notice that the area will popup in the menu and give you instructions how to set the size of it.
4. The selection is set. It will display it to you live. You can make changes as you wish. Then just execute /Lands selection assign <name>. After that everything is setup.
Trust Players and set Flags
By opening the areas menu again and clicking on the area, you can trust players to this specific area and edit flags. You can do everything for this specific area, like it is a land.
Players can always direct any questions about lands, that are not covered in this page, to staff members. If necessary a ticket can be made on discord for any issues.
